“Skinny” Fries: The Greatest Fries You Will Ever Have


You could say I’m a fry-buff. I’m one of those people who get protective over their fries when going out to eat because they’re my favorite part of any dish. That being said, I’ve had the best and I’ve had the worst. At least, that’s what I thought until today. You might have seen a Pinterest pin going around with a recipe for “Skinny Fries.” Unbelievable, I tell ya. I almost peed my pants they were SO good. The best part is, it literally took 30 minutes to bake them and maybe 5 minutes of prep. The recipe on the website was perfect, too, but I’ll post it here just in case:


  • 1 potato (baking)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic pepper
  • 1/2 tsp peppercorn pepper


  • Preheat oven to 415.
  • Cut the potatoes (seen below) and mix in all the ingredients.
  • Spread the potatoes on greased tinfoil on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the fries for 15 minutes, flip them, then bake for another 10-15 minutes.


Seriously easy. I hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as I did. I’m pretty sure I’ll be making them at least once a week for the rest of my life.
