Hello, world! My name is Sarah (I had no other selfie to post other than this one with my mom’s chicken, Gladys.) I’m currently a senior at the Pennsylvania State University studying Spanish, Business and International Studies. That being said, if you know of any positions in the corporate world abroad feel free to drop my name. 🙂
After an unsuccessful attempt at a travel blog, I’ve decided to expand into the world of Foodies and DIYers. I’ll mainly be posting about triumphant and disastrous attempts at new recipes and crafts, mostly found on Pinterest. (Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to cite the owners!) And perhaps, after a bit of experimenting, I’ll be posting my own ideas. Please leave me comments with your suggestions and constructive (but friendly) criticism so I can learn!
To catch you up on what you’ve been missing over the past couple of months, here are a couple projects and recipes I’ve tried out.
Used this recipe:
…I withheld some ingredients and added my own. Top with sour cream and you’ve got a Mexican masterpiece!
I got an idea to do this from Pinterest and added my own touches. All I needed was a $5 frame from Walmart, some paint, a few hooks and virtually any kind of paper to insert in the frame (I used wrapping paper). This makes a cute, easy way to organize all those necklaces that always end up in huge balls of chains.
An easy college go-to with frozen veggies and chicken. All you need to do is find a packet of stir-fry seasoning and VOILA!
Sorry for the poor quality pic, but I wear this to my job at Loft Outlet and get so many compliments on it, and it’s pretty easy to make! I got the directions at this website:
(and, like always, I added my own personal touch!)
Until next time!
